What’s the difference between an integration and a gateway?

An integration connects Hops directly to a single external system. A gateway means Hops acts as a central hub — we integrate with multiple systems on your behalf and pass data between them, so you don’t need separate connections for each. It’s one connection, many outcomes.

What’s the difference between Point of Sale and Point of Sale Passthrough?

A Point of Sale integration means Hops communicates directly with your POS. POS Passthrough means Hops pulls POS data from another system it’s connected to — ideal when your POS is already linked elsewhere in your stack.
