Hops Finance

Close the night with nothing left to explain.

Cash-up, deposits, invoices and the export to your accounts. Sales pull in from the till, so the operator reviews the night instead of retyping it.

Invoice processing

Ask how long an invoice takes to come back.

Most systems that say they read your invoices are posting them to a keying team overnight. It works, but you find out tomorrow, and by then the delivery has been put away and nobody remembers what was short.

Ours reads it while the driver is still in the yard. That is the whole difference, and it is a fair question to put to anyone selling you the other thing.

Cash-up

Nobody wants to be doing this at midnight.

Cash-up is POS-sync based. Sales, card takings and payment types pull in the moment the till closes. The operator reviews the night instead of retyping it: count the drawer, note anything odd, done on the till itself. No laptop, no back office, no spreadsheet emailed at one in the morning.

Against covers that arrived

By breakfast you know which sites closed clean.

Every close lands in one board with the variance beside it. Automated summaries go out the moment a cash-up is completed, to whoever should see it. Nobody chases a site for a figure that already exists.

What you are looking for is not the total. It is the one site that has not closed, and the one variance worth a phone call.

Booking deposits, reconciled

Deposits taken weeks ago are matched against the covers that actually arrived, so a party of twelve that became eight does not quietly cost you the difference.

Sync to your accounts

Approved invoices and cash-ups post to Xero, Sage 200, NetSuite and more, categorised to the right nominal and the right site. Your finance team stops re-typing operations data.

Reports that send themselves

End-of-day summaries go to the right people the moment a cash-up completes. Nobody builds the 8am email, and nobody waits for it either.

AI health checks

Our AI does not post your invoices. It questions them.

A health check reads what came in, compares it to what you agreed and what normally happens, and puts the odd ones in front of a person. It never quietly approves anything. Every flag shows the numbers it used, so you can disagree with it.

Price change

Chicken thigh is £1.42/kg above your last delivery.

Last four deliveries averaged £6.90/kg. This invoice reads £8.32/kg. No price change was agreed.

It flags, it shows its working, you decide. Anything that approves your money without asking is not a feature.

Getting it running

The till talks to us before your team touches it.

Cash-up only saves time if the sync is right, and the sync is our job, not yours. We connect your POS, map your payment types and tender methods, and set up who approves what and who receives the summary. Then we sit with your managers through a live cash-up, on a real trading night.

A cash-up nobody was trained on is just a longer spreadsheet.

POS mapped for you

Payment types, tenders and departments matched to how your venue actually rings things through, before day one.

Trained on a live trading night

In person, at the end of a real service, with the managers who will run it every night.

UK-based support

Answered here, by people who have closed a till, not a ticket queue that replies the day after service.

“We have managed to add about 3% to our blended GP as a business since the introduction of Hops and all the training. Which is better than even I could have ever hoped.”
